This morning we had some time off, so Ben and I rented a car and drove to La Libertad, a 30 minute drive from our hotel. We surfed for a bit then got out and drove around and prayed over the city.i believe that El Salvador will be the next surfing destination similar to Costa Rica, beautiful black sand beaches, great waves and wonderful people. Right now the real estate market is just waiting to be tapped in to. So we prayed over the future of what will happen in this particular city, that God would raise up a strong church and a testimony for himself here.
Afterwards we rejoined our team and traveled deep into the countryside where there is a brand new church plant of about 4 months old. This church currently has about 15 adults who regularly gather for fellowship and encouragement in God's word. I finished my night by a skype-chat with my family (because Ben was asleep already)
